Weekend Disappearances

Each weekend I’m easy to find - just not online.

I don’t check email. I don’t sign on to Facebook. I don’t read feeds. I don’t use Twitter.

My iPhone transforms into a regular “talk to people the old-fashioned way” phone. My BlackBerry doesn’t even leave its holster.

It keeps me sane.

I think that’s a brilliant call. I’m working on it. I need an office to leave my computer at.

What do you mean? What do you do?

Lemme see. This weekend I had a bbq, mowed the lawn, cleaned my garage, went to church, made spaghetti, played with the dog, watched Oceans Thirteen, and bought groceries. And I did my taxes - which was online - but I didn’t go near any networks!
