When were checks invented? Knowing that would help one make a better guess at when they will die out. Maybe they will continue to exist in some other form… like those Kryptonian criminals did in the Phantom Zone. I missed that poll – maybe a bunch of laid-off check printers stuffed the online ballot box! Maybe we’ll see some CUs and banks phase out the phrase “Checking Account”.
